In his introduction to his book Alchemical Studies Carl Jung makes the point that it wasn’t until he came to read The Secret of the Golden Flower that he could find any text to historically validate the views he’d been working on for the past 15 years. The Secret of the Golden Flower is said to be a Taoist text concerned with Chinese yoga. He also made the astounding assertion his views along with those found in The Secret of the Golden Flower were continually reproduced by his clients.
